Chad Terrell has always been intrigued by how things are made. Early on this took the form of trying to take things apart just to see how they go back together. He remembers being under a table attempting to remove several screws with a screwdriver. He made enough progress to affect the stability of the table and after that, it was a lot harder for him to get his hands on a screwdriver.
As a teenager, he took things apart for a purpose. At one point he owned two VWs but only had one air-cooled engine for both of them. After he moved back home to Iowa, he convinced a friend to put the VW engine in the bed of his pickup truck. They drove to Colorado and after spending a day snowboarding, Chad (and his engine) were dropped off. Once the VW was reunited with its engine, he headed home.
As an adult, he’s putting things together more often than taking them apart. Chad is still curious about how things are made and this drives him to learn new skills. He uses his electrical and construction knowledge and his YouTube University skills to build original things. He wants to share his projects and adventures with all of you. Chad hopes to be inspirational but he’ll be ok with just being amusing.
